Moving Out
As some of you may have already been told in person that we are planning to move out from our present home-sweet-home of 4.5 years in less than a week, therefore, explaining my not so active blogging. We’ve been extremely busy lately with packing. Moving from a large apartment into a smaller-sized one is giving us loads of decision-making scenarios, deciding which furnitures are to stay, which ones are not and because a lot of our furnitures in this present home are built-in, we have been doing quite some furniture shopping the last couple of weekends.
Our moving out date is coming close (Oct 3), I’m sure we’re gonna miss this neighborhood, the spacious living area we now enjoy; the clean and huge playground we have access to in just less than half a minute of walking time; the reasonable walking distances to the fresh market and the supermarkets; shopping malls; relatives and friends in the neighborhood. Well, good thing is, we’re still on HK island, we’re actually not that far away from all the good things in this neighborhood; best of all is, we’ll be moving into a better school zone, closer to Carissa’s current kindergarten, cutting down her awfully long traveling time; and as a bonus, fresher air quality.
