Girls at Ocean Park
No doubt Ocean Park is one of the fun places for children to visit, smart choice we’ve made purchasing the annual pass. Our last visit was the 6th time we went to the park since our annual pass purchase last October.
Like I have always mentioned in my blog, we have brutal Summers here, extremely hot and humid that is. So, we planned a late afternoon visit, we only arrived the park at 5pm and stayed till the park closes at 8. I think it was a good decision to go to the park on a weekday late afternoon, there was only reasonable crowd. We got pretty good close up look at the latest residents, the red pandas and they sure are cute!
Click here to check out video of the girls taking the cable car ride, and about the ride, we encountered a little incident, we were stuck in the car for like more than half a minute which felt like an hour, it was pretty scary, the whole thing just stopped. Carissa started asking me shortly after we were hanging midway motionless, “What’s wrong, mommy? Why aren’t we moving? I’m scared!” Thanks goodness, it moved again and that spare us a late night news appearance. You know, I was worried that we might be stuck up there for 3 hours, if you know about the Ngon-Ping 360 Cable Car incident. Overall, we did have some good time there seeing the latest park additions.
In the picture, Kailey was sitting on grandpa 爺爺’s laps, 爺爺 had recently undergone an operation to remove a brain tumor and still has not wake up from his surgery, when I’m writing this blog, it’s been exactly a week after his surgery. We just hope he will wake up soon and that we all miss him and the girls love him.
