Way to go, Carissa!
Having mentioned in my earlier post that Carissa had been rehearsing for the Kindergarten Graduation, SO, the big day had finally arrived on Saturday (June 27) and the children performed their dance on stage at the Poly University Jockey Club Auditorium. This was not the first time Carissa performed on stage, she danced for the same occasion last year, only that we see big improvements this year and we were not just satisfied but were very impressed with her development.
Decked on cute red or blue cheerleader outfits, the children took the stage with confidence. Most of the students moved up from Nursery class together w/ Carissa and still having fresh memory from their dance from last year, William and I were both very much impressed! A year apart, and we see huge improvements! To name a few, better physical co-ordination & posture; improved memory skills; increased self-confidence; understanding and dancing to the rhythms! Wow, they’re all big kids now and the hard work they spent rehearsing were so worth it. I think the teachers did an awesome job training them and sure do get big credit for their overall impressive performance.
Besides dancing on stage, this year, Carissa was again, presented the Creativity Award for being a creative kid throughout the whole school year! Creative in areas such as arts ‘n crafts, questions ‘n answers sessions etc. I was told by the class teacher a few times that she always come up with smart and impressive answers whenever asked and I’m happy that the school encourage participation.
